St. Pete Church Plant
Founded in fall 2022, Covenant Hope Church is a church “plant” in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Church planting is a term that’s used when an organized body of believers comes together to create a new, autonomous church in an underserved location. In our case, our church was planted from another local sending church, Covenant Life Church, in Tampa, Florida.

What to Expect
We are a small, but growing community of believers who seek to know God more deeply and make Him known to St. Petersburg and the nations.
As a young church plant, we have been blessed to enjoy the hospitality of Legacy Church at North East Park, which is located at 3737 1st St NE, St. Pete, FL. We currently conduct our worship service in Legacy’s Fellowship Hall.
To find us on Sunday mornings, follow the teal directional signs when you arrive or ask a greeter for help. Consider coming early for Coffee Corner, which starts at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, to meet members and visitors and enjoy a beverage or treat.
Kids & Teens
On Sunday mornings, we offer classes for kids up to 10 years old. Children are always welcome to join us during service, and worksheets are available at our info table. Learn more about Sunday Mornings.
What to Wear
When you visit, don’t be concerned about what you’re wearing. You may see anything from jeans and t-shirts to slacks, polos and dresses, and even the occasional jacket and tie. Flip-flops are fine. The main point is, we want you to be comfortable.
Community Groups
We love doing life together outside of Sundays and offer community groups throughout the week in member homes. Check out our Community Groups, where children are always welcome.

We’re a faith family who desires to know God more deeply and make Him known to St. Petersburg and the nations. To learn more about our community and what it’s like to be a disciple of Jesus, we’d love for you to worship with us on Sundays at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Legacy Church at North East Park (3737 1st St. NE, St. Pete, FL).
